Kalka Shimla train time table

Kalka to Shimla is a narrow gauge railway track having a length of 90 kilometers. It is more than 100 years old world heritage site and tourists coming to Shimla do not want to miss its ride. As the trains running on this route are Small in size they are also called toy trains.  The track  is famous for its 103 tunnels and Trains on this route can be booked in the same as other trains on the IRCRC website online. The train takes five and a half hour to travel from Kalka to Shimla due to hill terrain.
The following is the Shimla Kalka toy train time table. Please note that most of the trains are in the early morning and there is no train after 12:00 noon. IF you are arriving at Kalka in the evening from Delhi you will have to take a hotel nearby Kalka railway station and start the next day morning to enjoy this heritage train ride.

Please note that not all trains stop at Shoghi Railway station

Sunrise Villa is 1.5 kilometers from Shoghi Railway station.  Pickup  / drop charges from Shoghi Railway station is Rs 150 by Indica car. If coming by Himalayan Queen train the nearest station is the Tara Devi railway station and pickup charges from there is Rs 200.
